The protagonists and plots in Young Adult Literature (YA) center around older teenagers. Therefore, some of the content is above the maturity level of middle schoolers. Well, I have a suggestion. Consider buying a book. It stimulates the mind instead of expanding the waistline. There's also truly one for each and every person. The place to purchase these delectable literary confections is at one the two CJUSD book fairs at the Redlands Barnes & Noble book store during the fall 2010 season. By buying any gift item at the store, you will also support the schools since a percentage of the proceeds will be used for library book purchases. The joint Colton High/Colton Middle event will occur on Saturday October 23, 2010 from 9am-11pm. The fundraiser for Terrace Hills Middle will happen on Wednesday December 8, 2010. Books may also be purchased online for up to five days after the event. The internet access information is available at each of the school libraries.
